santa cristina d'aro, costa brava

Location

The villa overlooks the 4th hole of the Club de Golf Costa Brava in Santa Cristina d'Aro.  The village is about equidistant from the French border and Barcelona, around 100 km from both: it's a 1 hour drive from the border.  It is about 10 minutes drive from the coast and the beaches.

You should bear in mind that, however you travel to Santa Cristina, you are likely to need a car while you are here.

How To Get There

By Air:

Girona airport is about 30 minutes' drive, and is well served (particularly by Ryanair) from many European cities.  There are buses from the airport direct to Santa Cristina.

The major car hire companies have offices at the airport.  Alternatively, we can put you in touch with a local company offering very competitive rates.

Barcelona airport is just over 1 hour's drive away.  The major car hire companies have offices at the airport, and there are buses from central Barcelona to Santa Cristina.

By Road:

The A9 motorway runs from the French border to Barcelona.  From the north, take exit 7, and from the south take exit 8.  In each case follow the signs for Sant Feliu de Guixols, and stay on the C65  until you reach the exit signed Santa Cristina d'Aro.  Take this exit and continue into the village.  After the roundabout, look out for the supermarket on your left, then a gigantic golf ball on your right.  Turn right at the golf-ball, and continue 100 metres, then look for the Blansol office (our local agents) on your right.  Here you can collect the keys, and Blansol will show you how to find the villa.

By Rail:

The nearest railway is at Girona, which is well served from Barcelona and from France.  The bus station is adjacent to the railway station, and from here there are regular services to Santa Cristina.
